I have posted this in the past but I will reiterate. I bought a used but like new Harley muffler from the local independent HD bike shop, $15. Using a drill and hole saw 1 3/4" I think.
I cut through the weld at the rear end, then slid the baffle out. I drilled the baffle holes about 25% over size then took it to a good tig welder $26. and he did a perfect job of rewelding it. Looks great sounds great, much lighter than stock.
Next time I do this I will drill 35% over. Hope this helps.
